Anyways. My mum's gone to show Aunty Cimdy our Maplewoods unit, and my dad's got a golf game so I'm all alone at home, save for Ellen (my maid) and the dog.

And because my room is finally unpacked - I'm donating 6 gigantic boxes of stuff to the Salvation Army - and the plasma that's supposed to go in the living room hasn't arrived yet, I'm blogging rather aimlessly and feeling guilty about not doing all those things I should be doing.

The pleasure comes not from having nothing to do, but from having lots to do and not doing it.

And so as you can see, I put up a new layout. I think this one is cute. I don't know. I've been having awful layout blocks. This one is from the stila ads. How cute are they? They make you wanna run out and buy like a tonne of lipgloss, don't they.

Well tomorrow, hopefully we're going to go shopping for my new computer, 'cept I dunno which brand to get. Compaq? Acer? I wanted a iMac at first, then my mum said no cos they're not compatible with a lot of programmes, which I suppose is true. Ahhh well I'll go see.

Yesterday the reunion steamboat dinner was in my house. (: So fun. I heart my family.

Anyways. Our entire family's not celebrating cny cos of my grandma's death last november. We didn't do xmas either.

But still. I got a few hongbaos from the other side of the family.

Oh and Jeanette jie jie bought me the louis vuitton phone chain. Ooooh cute. (:

Happy Lunar New Year! (:

It was the same at school. Boring celebrations so we just hung around while Jean Hui sang her weirded Victoria-song everytime she walked past. Heh and Nora and Sixuan were trying to act TAITAI with Chrissy's bag but they really couldn't make it. No one walks like ME okay. (: I shall patent my nickname. LOL and we tried to get Huiqi to walk lady-likely but she just couldn't. Couldn't couldn't couldn't. Nevermind; we shall not give up. bu dao huang he xin bu si. See. My chinese is so improving kay. Yay me.

And then after the cheers ended at 9.30, the 7 of us (me, Nora, Sixuan, Huiqi, Chrissy, Joon Ting and Shevaun) took two cabs to Great World. I flagged a cab the moment we stepped out of school so Shev, Sixuan, Huiqi, and Nora took that one. And at the traffic junction outside there was one empty cab but Joon Ting and Chris said that there was no way it would come cos we were too far away and I'm like, wanna bet? So I stuck out my hand and it came HAH. And I gloated all the way in the cab ride there. Do not doubt my superior cab-flagging abilities.

Uh huh. So we went straight up to the theatre to watch I Not Stupid Too. Awww man the movie is way touching okay. I cried! Well actually 6 out of the 7 of us cried, and only Huiqi didn't cos she's an unfeeling, cold-hearted excuse for a human being. (Nah I'm kidding, I heart my Duck.) But still. I rarely cry at movies, not like Sixuan who cried at Madagascar. It was so sad! The puny guy went to say all he wanted to do was save up money to buy one hour of his dad's time and I just went like... MELTS. So sweeet right. Chrissy and Nora were weeping together lol. Oh and SHAWN LEE is major hot too can. (: And he's so taaaaaall.

So after that we had lunch at KFC and I had my popcorn chicken yum yum. Then we wanted to take neos but they didn't have machines at Great World so we took a cab (only Chris, Joon, Sixuan and me by now, cos Nora, Shev and Duck had to leave) to Orchard Cine. Then we splashed out and took neos and neos. Yeah baby so fun okay. But I refused to do those spastic retarded poses so we did alot of inpromptu ones but they turned out nice. Wheeeee.

OH and while we're in that pink shop (I have absolutely no idea what it's really called, but heck) there were these group of guys, and then as Sixuan and I walked past, she was like, 'Why do GUYS take neoprints?' And the entire group of them turned around, and I'm all, 'Don't you think that was kinda LOUD Sixuan?!' And it's like, wth! LOL she's so adorable can. (: So I'm like, 'Just ignore her,' to the guys and we walked into the booth haha.

And then I took a cab home. Oh and then David smsed me and I found out he was at the 7Eleven outside Sunset Way so I asked him to wait for me there cos I needed to pick up my 8Days anyway. And then I walked home with him but it's so unfair cos his house is not as far in as mine and I was wearing jeans so by then I was like, super hot. Ahhhhh. Oh, I was actually supposed to meet Shuhui at The Daily Scoop but she couldn't make it at the last minute.

Wed'day, 25th January 06

Okay sorry for not blogging. The stupid electrician forgot to put power to the study so I couldn't. I got him to come this morning after I called our architect and started ranting about how now having computer access was going to affect my meeting my CAP portfolio deadline and that would, in turn, devastate my entire future inrefutably. Yeah, I rock. (:

Oh and btw. HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN is like, so broodingly handsome and listen up star wars producers, that darth vader mask is way wasted on him. HIS FACE SHOULD BE PLASTERED ALL OVER HOLLYWOOD, not hidden behind some stupid mask. Hayden is tres HOTNESS, whooyay. (: Chrisanda, take notice : Hayden Christensen = megawatt gorgeous. Joshua Ang = UBER BENGNESS! Like ewww.

Some people are so crude and vulgar it's unbearable.

They smirk; they tilt their head up and backwards inexplicably; they make wisecracks which aren't the barest bit wise; their basic tone of speech is so unreasonably condescending; they make you long to reach out and slap them so hard you wipe that incredibly infuriating sneer of their pasty white faces; they make you so irritated just blogging about them you don't even want to colourize your post to make it even the slightest bit more decent, because you won't even award them the effort. It's when their very presence becomes so amazingly vexing it makes you stop and wonder if it were biologically possible to detest a person so much; when you know for sure - maybe it's that bit in you raging with oppressiveness - that you'll never be able to forgive, you'll never be able to forget.

Perhaps I'm biased. Perhaps I am being unnecessarily critical. But I know that people like these, I just can't stand.

So today we had music and dance for aesthetics. Then after recess, Rachel, Nora, Jananii, Lathiga and I went back to class cos we thought the rest would go there cos we didn't know where to go, as in we didn't know which module we were having. Then they weren't in class so we went to the kitchens. They weren't there so we got Lathiga to follow this teacher to find out where to go, and Lathiga that dumbass went to follow her into the teacher's toilet! LOL like what the heck can. But then we still didn't know so we went to ask the general office, and then we finally got to the music studio like 15 minutes late. Ooops lol.

And then after music we had dance! Yeah we're doing the mambo. So cool! Last year we did the chacha. So I'm partnering Nora and I'm the 'guy' cos I'm taller hehe. It's much more fun than chacha and Ms Amy (the instructor) is like, swing your hips! I don't see your hips! And she didn't let us stop until we got it right so it was kinda like, urgh. But it was fun.
Then later when the 'guys' went outside to practice while the 'girls' learnt their bit, Jean Hui and Lathiga started being gay. I mean like, literally. LOL it was hilarious. Jean Hui was the macho guy and Lathiga was the pretty girl and it was majorly weird but still. LMAO. They're crazy people I tell you.

Uh huh and then after lunch we had a stupid talk about RS the teacher was like, if anyone talk's they're gonna stay back for detention. So doh I kept quiet for like, an hour which is, fyi, a record. God it's unthinkable. Okay then I took a cab home cos I thought I had to rush rush rush for training then my mum sent me a message and told me to stay home cos the movers were coming. Can you imagine? For once I'm not the one begigng to stay home. (: Wheeeee.

And yeah new layout again. I like this. It's totally grunge baby! Oooh la la. As much as I adore and revere Gemma Ward, I didn't like that layout. =/ So this is up and I like it. (: Oooh the colours purple and cyan are inspired by my Zig markers whoooosh lol.

Yeah new layout up, finally.

Okay I'm not so sure whether I like this or not. Yeah it features Gemma Ward, like I told you, cos she looks good in almost everything, and she's my favourite model ever ever. (: I think I took this from Vogue. I love the vintage sailor dress.

Anyway. I was just looking through the ad campaigns for this year and I tell you what. For 2006, I'm gonna be all about Valentino. Have you seen their ad? It's so incredibly gorgeous. The models are so doll like, and it's obviously photo-shopped but you know what, heck. It's a fantastic sheet. Yeah baby. It's gonna be my next layout. (:

And this year I'm not going for LV. Their Gisele campaign was just so tacky and the logo thing is way OTT. Seriously, the truly rich people don't need to show off, cos they've got nothing to prove.

But I think I'm alright with Dior if they keep Kate Moss. I know she's been dabbling in cocaine and all that, but frankly, no one does heroin-chic better than her and I think her features are just so fascinatingly andrygonous.

Oh, and I've decided. I wanna get the Motorola PEBL. Cos I don't think I can wait til the V3c comes to Singapore, if ever.

Okay today I went to the hair salon and I had some funky steam treatment and I cut my hair (again). Lol the washing bit was fun, as usual.

So anyway. I'm toying with the idea of changing my phone. Cos you see I've had my phone for a long time (kinda!), and so it's quite battered now cos I'm quite clumsy with my phones. Oops lol.

So to all those other people looking for a phone, I really suggest - from experience! - that you don't get a 3G phone. You see, my current phone is 3G and aside from the obvious fact video calling is quite very redundant, it's really really not worth it if you get some big bulky phone just for an extra camera.

So I'm thinking of going for either the black MotoRAZR V3c, which is basically the RAZR except better, cos the camera is a 1.3megapix instead of a lousy VGA. And a one megapix camera is a necessary criteria. OR I'd get the Motorola PEBL just because it's so darn ah-dorable. Except it's a VGA camera but I suppose for function over form, I'd put up with it.

Ah heck, I don't know.

Oh and I'm gonna re do the Gemma Ward layout. I decided to do it in red and blue instead of pomegranate pink.

OMGOSH. Before I forget, I went to see the house today. Ahhhhh I've got full-length floor-to-ceiling mirrors! Whoot I like, I love. (: Yeah and one wall is kinda a mocha-purple-grey. Tres chic, baby.

Today, after my mum left for dinner (yeah it's her birthday) I made a new layout which I won't be putting up just yet featuring Gemma Ward, who is like the prettiest prettiest most talented avant-garde model. Yeah and you might recognize her as the face of Burberry and Yves Saint Laurent.
And then I also did one prose which I painstakingly wrote from the point of view of a tree on the brink of being cut down, and then equally painstakingly crafted into the shape of a basic tree. Thanks for the tip, moopsie dear! Yeah I'm so proud of it.
I also did one poem called 'She' which was a slight change from one I did earlier and I love it love it love it. The two are so going into my CAP portfolio. It is deathdefyingly important that I get in, cos there's no way I'm doing RS. I'd flunk.

And that's it. I'm going to watch tv now lol.

First day back at school!
Alright so when we got to class, Nora and I sat together cos we didn't know just about anybody in the class. Then our form teacher went to get us to sit according to HEIGHT. And I'm like, WTH? Have you even heard of anyone being arranged according to height since like, the second world war or something? It's like hair-tousling. No one does it anymore. God. So I'm like the 4th tallest in class but I'm standing next to Rach Yeo cos she's like the only one I know around my height, and she's 2nd tallest.
So anyways. This teacher comes and points her two fingers at me and the 3rd tallest girl and she's like, switch. And then while she's not looking I switch back lmao. And then I wound up sitting with Rachel. She's a lifesaver.
So this teacher is way weird. She says ice breaker as eye breaker and I'm thinking, huh? Lol Nora and I were saying that she better not be our EL/Lit teacher or we'd flunk.

And that's it for my first day. Oh, and the sec ones this year are way goody goody. Their shirts are tucked into their cullotes even though they don't NEED to be and they buttoned it all the way to the top button. Egads we've got a lot of undoing to do.
